For the early birds or sleepy heads
A choice of 3 breakfasts are included in your package each morning. Platters 1 & 2 are left in your cottage for you to prepare at your leisure and enjoy the privacy of your own verandah OR relax and be looked after in the leafy courtyard of the"Baked Poetry Café" a 5 minute drive away (voucher provided). Please choose one breakfast per cottage and order prior to arrival. On Sunday mornings the paper will be delivered to your verandah.
1. Traditional Platter for 2
A hearty platter for the ravenous!
Smoked bacon, Bangalow pork sausages, eggs, vine ripened tomato, field mushrooms and ciabatta for toasting. Accompanied by charcuterie of leg ham and Danish salami, Swiss cheeses, butter, fresh fruits, thick-cut fruit filled raisin bread and fruit juice.
2. Healthy Platter for 2
A healthy and heavenly choice.
Homemade birchermuesli soaked overnight in apple juice and served with local Kenilworth yoghurt. Add a selection of stewed and fresh tropical fruits and nuts. Accompanied by ciabatta bread for toasting and homemade berry muffins, jam and honey.
3. Baked Poetry Café and Delicatessen
A Noosa institution, the Baked Poetry Café has been serving the locals delicious gourmet meals and fantastic coffees for almost ten years.
The tree-sheltered space that surrounds the café creates a relaxing environment in the heart of the seaside village of Peregian, just a 5 minute drive from Lake Weyba Cottages.
"We have a relaxed "order-at-the-counter-service" and specialise in Gourmet European Style Breads and Cakes. All our foods and dishes are made on our premises and prepared with the finest quality and local-market fresh produce, and no artificial creams, sauces, or marinades are used.
Our breakfasts are integrated with our home-baked speciality German style breads, and we even make our own, naturally-flavoured gourmet ice-cream ...
Our Team is Multi-lingual, with nine languages being comfortably spoken, so if you're holidaying in Queensland please pay us a visit.

Muesli with Fruit Salad and Yoghurt.
Fresh fruit salad of fruits in season. Yoghurt - Premium Gourmet Local using all fresh and natural ingredients. Muesli is prepared on our premises.
